What you can build

Every way to put giving in your product, grouped by mechanic, each with live demos in several sectors and the guide to build it.

Pick a use case by who pays, what starts the donation and your sector, or search for your idea. Each use case is one mechanic: its page switches the demo between the sectors that run the same calls, and lists what else the flow covers.

How to read a demo: the site shows what your customer does, and the panel what your server sends and what Charitips answers, step by step.

Widget or your own UI

In every demo, the charity choice is the Charitips charity selection widget: the charity cards, their profiles and, when a gift is funded for the person, the thank-you card with sharing, matching and newsletter. What surrounds it, such as the order confirmation, the button that confirms the choice and the card that follows, is the site's own interface, built with the API. You can use the widget whole, keep only some of its parts, or draw the whole choice yourself: List charities gives the charities to show, and Claim a donation records the one picked. Turn on "Show what is the widget" above a demo to see where one ends and the other begins.

Not in the list?

Every flow combines the same pieces: a campaign, donations, and a charity chosen by someone. Describe your case to your coding agent with the Charitips skill, check the words in the glossary, or contact us.

What every flow needs

  • A validated Charitips account.
  • An active subscription, to activate a campaign.
  • A payment method, in production.

Some flows need more, such as paying with your users' own money or accounts for your business customers: Plans and prerequisites lists them.
